Field Service Engineer (Ref: 00242)

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. 

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, install, buy-off and commission semiconductor equipment at customer sites

  • Provide pre and post sales technical support to service and upgrade equipment  e.g. change-kits, new design modules, features and capabilities

  • Trouble-shoot process related problems and identify root cause for effective and timely resolution of field issues

  • Defend customer installed base with regular field service reports

  • Build and maintain strong customer relations on ground

  • Update and maintain all service related documentation or reports in databases

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Higher NITEC / ITC in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering

  • 3-5 years experience in servicing automated / production equipment.

  • Good customer orientation skills

  • Able to travel overseas
