We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer & Data Analyst Manager to lead the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. In this role, you will manage a team of local and remote Data Analysts to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful data solutions that drive business performance.

You will play a key role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring data quality, and leveraging Azure Data Services and other modern technologies to support advanced analytics, including AI and ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Engineering & Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for reliable data flow from multiple sources to data warehouses or lakes.
• Build and maintain efficient data architectures using secure, compliant technologies.
• Implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration and analysis.

2. Data Quality & Governance

• Establish data validation and cleaning processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Maintain documentation, policies, and data management best practices.

3. Data Analytics & Reporting

• Lead the planning and delivery of analytics projects and reports across business functions.
• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Provide strategic insights through data modeling and performance tracking.

4. Leadership & Collaboration

·       Manage, mentor, and guide a team of Data Analysts (local and remote).

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data solutions.

·       Drive innovation in data analytics through the use of AI, ML, and other emerging technologies.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL development.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and Azure data tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Analysis Services).

Additional Experience (Preferred)

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience in data warehousing and agile project delivery.

Soft Skills

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

·       Effective communication and collaboration skills.

·       Ability to lead and motivate a distributed team.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·       At least 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or analytics, including team management.

·       Azure Data Engineer, Azure Data Analytics, or Power BI certifications are advantageous.
