Sales Trader (Bunker Trading, existing portfolio required) (Ref: 00299)

Our client is within the Oil & Gas sector and they are actively hiring for a Sales Trader to manage the sales, trading and marketing of fuel products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing existing client relationships.

  • Stay updated on the latest oil market trends and developments.

  • Actively broker and trade marine fuels on behalf of clients, securing competitive rates that are mutually beneficial.

  • Track customer payments and follow up promptly on overdue accounts.

  • Handle claims and support legal processes involving customers or suppliers in the event of disputes.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree qualification is required.

  • Past experience in Sales & Marketing within shipping, oil & gas, or brokering/trading in other sectors is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain CRM systems and perform administrative tasks effectively.

  • Outgoing personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Adept at delivering clear, concise presentations to clients and apply effective sales strategies.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
